Musicians and music professionals are known to have lavish
lifestyles, and often are enticed into the world of drugs and
alcohol.
It is important for the young artist to have good mentors who
can help them remain sober and successful.

through television shows like "American Idol".
Many countries now have a television show of this nature.
These types of programs are national contests that help
amateur singers break into the entertainment world.
Generally speaking, the finalists and winners of such programs
have a good chance at being successful in the "music business.
