Download Free Spyware
As we approach the end of
the year 2006, online spying becomes more prevalent and more
sophisticated.
It’s actually easy to find websites that openly write in their
home page “click here to download free spyware.
” Internet surfers should be aware of a wide range of
different Internet spying softwares.
For example, in Amazon.
com, one can download a free spyware, such as Alexa, that does
not actually log the keystrokes, or take a system snapshot of
the computer; it only records the surfing activities.
However, other sites offer to download free spyware, such as
Spector, an extremely sophisticated program that picks up
information from computers including passwords, surfing
history, and even chat room logs and e-mails.
Anyone is drawn to the “download free spyware” links for the
two simplest reasons: 1.
Most common people don’t even know what a spyware is.
2.
People are happy for being given the opportunity to download
free spyware since it is “free” and most people do not know
what it is used for.
Although, most of us will feel uncomfortable knowing we are
being watched all the time, the “download free spyware” option
is a good alternative for a lot of work places.
People should know that their surfing habits at work should be
restricted solely to work related subjects.
Most workplaces have the right to do this, so by default, we
all need to get used to the idea that someone is monitoring
our online actions.
Since all workplaces need to spend thousands of dollars on
legally purchased softwares, it is only fair that offices can
download free spyware and continue with their work. |
